TIP #2:
NO MORE PERMS!!!!!!!! A"perm" is a chemical break down of the bonds in our hair. It STRIPS our hair. KERATIN TREATMENTS are the next best thing to a perm, and makes your hair look and feel like you have a perm. Its the best of both worlds. You can have your hair natural or blow drieds straight with the kerain treaments...NO PERM!!
DO'S:
1. Keratin treatments last 8-12 weeks.
2. It is not a chemical treatment at all.
3. You can do it at home

TIP #1
Tip #1: NEVER use shampoo on your hair except every 4-6 weeks. Shampoo is the #1 drying agent for relaxed and natural hair.
DO'S:
1. Wash your hair with conditioner as often as you want. The conditioner protects your hair each time you use it. Natural hair loves moisture, so co-wash (conditioner wash) your hair at least once a week.
2. I use Herbal Essence Hello Hydrations Conditioner and it works great!
When I do finally wash my hair I use Alberto VO5 Tea Theraphy Clarifying Shampoo.
3. Remember, your hair will not suds up with the conditioner, however the suds are what drys our hair. We don't need suds for our hair to be clean.

Finally Twists!
Yesterday I was able to twist my TWA for the first time. I was so excited! I have slightly changed my routine because my hair is telling me what it likes from what it does not. I cowashed, applied Aphogee leave in conditioner, Shea butter and Elasta QP Liquid gel. The liquid gel is awesome!!! It feels like silk in your hair and leaves it moist all day, night and the next morning. It DOES NOT make the hair hard at all. For the twists I used Aphogee leave in, shea butter and eco styler gel. It came out so beautiful. I will post a pic by the end of the day:-)

Dry Curlz :-(
I cowashed my hair and put leave-in conditioner in. After that I put Cantu Daily Shea Butter Oil Moisturizer in. I then put Marc Anthony Strictly Curls Curl Defining Lotion in, and used a soft bristle brush to make coils. My curls popped so beautifully!!! They were definied and shiney! As the day went on and they dried, they started to get hard but I did not care because they looked awesome!. I placed a satin bonnet on my TWA and went to bed. When I woke up this morning not only did my hair look like the desert, it felt like it too!. I immediately put water in my hands and ran in through my TWA. Then I put Castor Oil Hair & Scalp Conditioner in with my finger tips and placed a plastic cap on. I am bagging right now to make it soft again before I get in the shower and cowash. I am trying some of the S-Curl line to see if I get get pretty curls without them being hard and dry :-)

Who would have known that curly kit products are the solution for my drynes?! I added Carefree Curl Wave Activator to my routine every two days. When I woke up in the morning, my hair was moist, the next evening slept with a bonnet and it was soft again. I was amazed! I did not have to moisutre again for two days and nok bagging...WOW! I feel the curl pattern of my curlz, they are so cute and soft :-)
I applied: water, leave in conditioner, carefree curl wave activator (made circles with a soft bristle brush) and sprayed Wave Nouveau Finishing Mist.
